Activity Program Flow
1. Context Setting & Ice Breakers (5–10 minutes)
Welcome to the Roller Coaster Challenge! Teams warm up with a quick amusement park-inspired icebreaker, then receive materials and a fun mission: build a wild ride using nothing but creativity and teamwork.
2. Activity Briefing (5 minutes)
The task? Build a working mini roller coaster that can carry a marble from start to finish. Teams plan, assign roles, and prep to design something fun, functional, and fabulous—under time pressure.
3. Action Time (60–90 minutes)
Construction begins! Teams build, test, and tweak their roller coasters using limited materials. Expect wild turns, strategic improvisation, and lots of laughter as creativity meets collaboration.
4. Reflecting & Connecting (5 minutes)
After the final run, teams reflect on what they built and how they built it—discussing how adaptability, communication, and real-time problem-solving made all the difference.
5. Closing & Wrap Up (5–10 minutes)
Each team shares their final coaster, celebrates their wins (and glorious flops), and wraps up with some big-picture insights on building ideas that ride smoothly—together.
