1. Context Setting & Ice Breakers (5–10 minutes)
Welcome to Bali—but not for a holiday! Teams are tasked with opening a new office through a real-time procurement simulation. A quick icebreaker sets the mood for strategic thinking, collaboration, and playful competition.
2. Activity Briefing (5 minutes)
The host walks participants through the procurement simulation setup, highlighting norms, approval flows, and evaluation metrics. Teams get their game board, budget, and sourcing challenges—all rooted in real-world procurement concepts.
3. Action Time (60–90 minutes)
Time to put theory into play! Teams negotiate with suppliers, manage costs, compare offerings, and respond to curveballs like delays or contract changes. Every decision made reflects procurement principles and trade-offs.
4. Reflecting & Connecting (5 minutes)
Teams unpack the experience—how processes were followed, how stakeholder priorities were managed, and what procurement lessons came to life. Takeaways include risk handling, cost-quality balance, and strategic sourcing.
5. Closing & Wrap Up (5–10 minutes)
Each team shares their procurement story and final outcomes. The session ends with a reveal of the most efficient “office launch,” some well-earned laughs, and a nod to the power of simulation in learning real-world concepts.
